Volvo S60 only part left behind, though all models now come with integrated dual exhaust outlets. The rear lights now get LED accents, too. wqzxc Inside, there is new, plus a new "silk metal" trim around the air vents and some secondary controls. List of car interior colors and wood trim has been updated, and the front sports seats are now available. Speaking sporty, lowered sports suspension S60 R-Design is now optional on non-R-Design S60s, such as paddle shifters.
Great news for S60 interior is having the technology. Well, more than that, anyway. First, the touch screen infotainment Volvo settings first infrared-based Consumer Electronics show in 2013, making appearances this year's production. Dubbed Census, wqzxc setup customize dashboard display, seven inches Volvo to respond to touch input using infrared light, breaking the beam and counting system where "touch" you meant.
We tried this system installed in 2013 XC60 Crossover at CES and found to work well, and because it does not rely on capacitive touch input like a normal touch screen, users can wear gloves. wqzxc A card or a USB 3G/4G mobile occupants' provides the system with Internet connectivity, which can be used to surf the web (when the car is parked) and radio internet access, Google maps and search, and weather info. The Census also features a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot so that some passengers could access the internet.
Leap forward in the technology department comes courtesy of a new digital gauge cluster available. Volvo Adaptive Digital Display S60 replaces the analog gauges with a reconfigurable TFT display with driver selected three themes: Elegance, Eco and Performance. wqzxc Elegance provides a traditional gauge cluster display, Eco brings eco meter and fuel consumption information is set against a green background, and performance puts big tachometer front and center, with the speed shown digitally in the middle, and a power meter attached to a red background.
