2014 Scion TC FR-S Release Date Price - To continue the sales momentum, major refresh occurs tC coupe this year to keep things current and wqzxc with the purchasers which include shorter attention of grass on the putting green. First shown at the New York International Auto Show, the 2014 tC has been reworked to resemble the FR-S in both looks, and, to a lesser extent, feel.

Review 2014 Scion TC, FR-S
Under the hood, the engine remains a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine found on the tC the same last year, wqzxc but down 1 hp and 1 lb-ft of torque now develops 179 hp and 172 lb-ft. Power is sent to the front wheels by either a six-speed manual transmission or six-speed mentioned previously updated automatically. Still feels decent power and torquey and tC is expected to reach 60 MPH in about 7.4 seconds. Not emit fewer exhaust growl, which is fitting for a compact coupe with sporty pretensions. Fuel economy, you guessed it, should remain the same at 23 mpg city and 31 mpg highway for both automatic and manual versions of the tC.
Inside, the 2014 tC has not received much love during the 2014 restyle, wqzxc which is unfortunate. Out-of-date hard plastic covering most of the surface, a family trait found in most Scions, and sightlines remain attractive.

There are several highlights in such a thick-rimmed steering wheel, comfortable seats and a new standard audio system display. wqzxc The latter is a 6.1-inch LCD touchscreen infotainment unit that made its debut in the tC, but will find himself as an entertainment unit standard on all 2014 Scion models. This is good news for potential buyers and may have Features Editor Sami Haj-Assaad scramble out of his own 2013 FR-S with a tape measure to see if it can retrofit this unit.
The power steering has been programmed as well, helps improve steering feel and response. wqzxc And automatic transmission now features the same Dynamic Rev Management technology found in the FR-S which blips the throttle on downshifts.

2014 Scion TC Release Date and Price
The base 2014 Scion tC starts at $19,965. The Scion 10 Series models go on sale in June.
